tity Boom Swing Band

originsThe Origins of Tity Boom are for the most part shrouded in mystery.Proponents of the "Swinging Universe Theory" claim that there was an original " Big Boom", closely followed by a "Tity", that then reverberated throughout space, creating the familiar " boom tity boom tity boom" drum pattern that now permeates the space time continuum as we know it. The more ''Traditional Percussionist Position", is, of course, that: " In the beginning there was silence on the face of the void…", then God played the very first "tity boom tity boom" on the primordial high-hat cymbal so that Adam and Eve could do the Lindy Hop , of course! "This view also holds (and this is supported by recent interpretation of Egyptian hieroglyphics) that later Moses actually received an 11th and 12th commandment, "The Lost Commandments":

By the turn of the century Einstein theorized that time is relative. In the words of Einstein himself (who was also a musical genius), "Time is relative man! it's always Swingtime." And of course, it was Einstein who derived the famous al and john discussing circa 1900"2 (rock the room)= tityboom"

Much later in the present century Young John Chapman was working out rhythms on his piano. Just then, a copy of Einstein's book containing the "2 rock the room" equation fell off the shelf and landed open paged across his keyboard. What the ...??... 2 rock the ...Tity Boom? That's it!! exclaimed young John and hence the Tity Boom Band was born. What? You don't believe that?
